Adjusting SOW Templates for Software as a Service Projects

Hello,

Curious to get your thoughts on creating SOWs for short packaged services (2-10 days) for offerings someone could theoretically
put in a web shopping cart. The crux of the problem is keeping it short and simple (2-3 pages including T&Cs). When you do that, you
don’t have much leeway to describe the project or constrain it properly (higher risk on fixed price). If it is too long, legal has to get
involved and the ‘simple user experience’ is tarnished.

Any recommendations on managing those customer expectations and constraints outside the actual SOW?

Thanks!

Jeff
