What are three things most people don't know about you?

1.  My diverse interests in arts.
2.  My eclectic collection of music.
3.  I grew up in Utah.

What's been your greatest adventure in life?

Going to boarding school at the age of 14.

What's your best childhood memory?

My sister and I always split everything evenly.  One time, our mother brought home a stack of blank paper for us, and it took us hours to divide the pile into two perfectly even parts.

If you could have a conversation with a person of your choice, past, present or future, who would that person be and why?

Legendary golfer, Bobby Jones.  Among all of his achievements, he is the only golfer to have won the Grand Slam.  While internationally
famous, Jones maintained his amature status throughout his playing career.  He retired from competition after he won the Grand Slam, at age 28.

What's the hardest thing you've ever done in your life?

Shut down an office and let everyone go, for a former employer.

Tell us about your favorite hobby.

Golf, but I’m not very good, and movies (all genres).

What are you currently reading? What is your favorite book?

Currently reading: final draft of an upcoming book, Innovation to the Core, by Peter Skarzynski.

Favorite: The Firm, By John Grisham, I was finishing business school and many recruiters were offering a BMW as the signing bonus (if you haven’t read the book, the main character, played by Tom Cruise in the movie version, was given a BMW as his signing bonus).

Is there a particular place or thing you want to see?

The Restaurant at the End of the Universe.

If you could give $10,000 to a charity, what would that charity be and why?

The Peddie School, to help make the highest quality secondary school education available to promising students.

If you weren't on the professional services career track, what would you be doing?

I’d be involved in the Fashion business.

What is the path that led you to Professional Services/Consulting?

My interests were very broad, and I couldn’t see myself locked into any one industry.

What advice would you give to a recent graduate who just took a job in professional services?

Learn how to say “no”.  While being flexible and adaptive is important in service delivery, it’s important to know the boundaries.

Services Delivery Satisfaction Matrices

Hi,

I am planning to establish and measure certain customer satisfaction
matrices for our professional services division.

I am interested in getting input on the following:

1. What matrices are you measuring, if any?
2. How do you measure them(methods\tools) etc.?
3. Impact of establishing such matrices (both positive and negative)
4. Advice on rolling out such matrices to the organization.

Thanks in advance,

Parag A.
