Welcome to PSVillage!
We invite you to become a part of our fast growing community of senior practitioners in Technology Professional Services. A community "of the village, by the village", you'll find this to be an active group working together to bring you member-developed programs such as an on-line magazine, networking events, benchmark studies, mentoring programs, peer-to-peer workshops, webinars and more.
Today, we're over 1,000 members strong, with senior Technology Professional Services management across the globe looking to keep a pulse on best practices, job and networking opportunities in the Professional Services field. This new community was created to:
- Encourage the exchange of ideas, information, and best practices between senior practitioners
- Bring together talented PS/Consulting professionals at all levels with companies looking to build their Services teams

| In 2006 we introduced our on-line magazine "Voice of the Village". Written by PSVillage members who've led and built services teams, this community of Technology Professional Services thought leaders has come together in a kind of "community blog" to share their insights and ideas, what's worked for them over the years and what hasn't, pitfalls to avoid and tips on creating greater efficiencies and boosting the services bottom line. |

| Discussion Forum and Job Board |

| In August 2005 we launched a job board designed specifically for Technology Professional Services. PS practitioners of all levels now have a place to post resumes and search for PS and Consulting jobs, while companies looking to build their services teams now have the capability to search resumes and post jobs to a targeted audience. If you're a PS or Consulting practitioner at any level - employee or employer -- this job board is for you!
In October 2004 we launched a Yahoo Groups discussion forum enabling senior practitioners to discuss on-the-job issues and exchange ideas and information. Our growing membership is comprised of senior management with a breadth of functional, technical, strategy, and management experience working for companies such as Booz Allen, Bain, Accenture, SAP, Deloitte, Oracle, IBM, software startups and others. | Terry Jansen, founder of PSVillage and formerly an executive search consultant specializing in Technology Professional Services, launched PSVillage after discussing the concept with a hundred PS leaders who embraced the need for this type of community. Prior to her 10 years in the search business, Terry held marketing management, corporate communications, and sales consulting positions with Unisys Corporation. Terry has a Bachelor of Business degree in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. When she's not busy dreaming up new ideas and programs for PSVillage, you'll find her throwing rocks for her rock-chasing, fence-climbing, escape-artist dog, Molly. |
