Abstract

This webinar recording, including a live Q&A, was presented by Rob Barnum, VP Professional Services, Taleo, for the PSVillage Mentoring Progam. A former SVP Professional Services for SupportSoft Global Services and Regional VP at Peoplesoft, Rob has extensive experience in leading global services organizations.

In his presentation, Rob presents the guiding principles of Performance Management for PSO's.  He discusses Performance Management as a key process in optimizing and energizing your most important asset - your people, and focuses on such questions as what is Performance Management and why is it important, how to set and achieve goals, and best practices in recording and rewarding performance. Rob provides several examples and templates of Performance Management tools, such as a Composite Rating Chart for Performance Review and a Consulting Manager Scorecard to manage global consultant performance quarterly.
